Joe, the Happy Hobo is your host and guide on the "Rainbow Railroad." The Lord Jesus Christ is the engineer. God has promised that all those who believe and obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ can board His Rainbow Railroad and travel up to Heaven with Him. Along the journey there are many lessons to be learned. On the Rainbow Railroad, children learn to live and love like Jesus!

The rainbow is a symbol of God's promise of enduring mercy and grace. It also represents diversity and unity. God's people may come from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences, but riding the rainbow Railroad, we learn to love another as Christ loved us. We also learn to appreciate the differences in others as these differences make our world more interesting and much more colorful!

JACCI is a Progressive Pentecostal church. We welcome sincere seekers of truth from every spectrum of the human family. God loves us and understands us, as we are, and JACCI strives to encourage and teach tolerance and understanding. Racism, Sexism, Ageism, Intolerance, Homophobia, and the like are not welcome here. Our Rainbow Railroad Children's Church curriculum includes lessons from the life and teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. He was the very image of God and in His life we see the personality and disposition of our heavenly Father.

"JiG-GiL" the Gospel clown will make periodic appearances at our RRCC. He will not be present every week, but Joe, the Happy Hobo will be. Special services for the RRCC children will also be conducted periodically, for instance Summertime Vacation Bible School or children's revivals/crusades. Parents will receive advance announcements of these events by mail, email, a notice sent home with your child, or phone.

Parents are always welcome to attend with their children, but we specifically ask that someone over 16 accompany children under 5 years of age. Children 5-12 are welcome without a parental escort. Parents must arrange for pick up of their children at 2pm. Arrangements should be made in advance if we are to provide transportation to or from the church.

A light lunch, consisting of Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Chips, and Juice will be provided for the children. Please be sure to let us know if your child has any food allergy issues.

Free-will offerings will be taken. You are invited to give your child pocket change or whatever you may wish to contribute to the program. It is important for children to learn early in life that everything worthwhile must be supported by those who enjoy and participate in it. You do not have to pay anything for your child to participate.

THIS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED FOR CHILDREN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 5 and 12. Older children/teens welcome. Younger than 5 also welcome with parent or guardian over 16. Children in this age bracket will be given FREE LUNCH, but Lunch is $2 for adults and children not in the targeted age group (5-12 years of age).

Children, as well as all attendees of our church, receive points for attendance, bringing friends, & bringing Bible which they can use to buy merchandise from our "WORD POWER" Bibles, Christian Books, & Gifts Store. Items able to be purchased range in nature from Bibles, Christian Books, Toys, Games, Inspirational Items, and much more.
